My flying career began back in 1988 where I obtained my ASEL Private Pilot’s License in Orange, Texas (KORG).  In 2007, I obtained one of my hardest flying objectives, Instrument Rating in ASEL.  I continued to add additional ratings and in 2011 I completed my ASEL and AMEL Commercial Instrument Rating.  I began flying Gyroplanes in 2012 and by 2014 had worked my way up to becoming a Commercial Rotorcraft Gyroplane Instructor.

I have flown for many different companies along my career as a Commercial Pilot.  I was assigned as a Pilot for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office – Air Support Unit in 2008 and have flown with them until 2019.  I also have flown part time with the Tomball Police – Air Support Unit as a Pilot and Flight Instructor from 2011 until 2021.

Besides being a full time Sergeant with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, I still maintain a family life at home with my wife, Lori, and two daughters, Hannah and Sarah.
